Postdoctoral fellowships

The GRIP invites applications for two postdoctoral fellowships beginning between June and September 2012.

The successful candidates will work with a multidisciplinary team of senior investigators on large longitudinal and experimental studies conducted on children from birth to adolescence.

Travel allowances

The GRIP encourages its students to present their work at conferences and will defray some of the costs related to registration, transportation and accommodations. The following application form is to be filled out by the student and approved by his or her project supervisor.

Submission deadlines:

• Conference to be held between November 1st and March 31st: before June 1st of the previous year.
• Conference to be held between April 1st and October 31st: before June 1st of the previous year.

Funding is granted according to the following conditions:

1. Funding priority is given to students at the doctoral and postdoctoral level.
2. Students must be the primary authors of the presentation being made.
3. The student's supervisor must contribute financially to the student's participation in the conference. The GRIP will match the supervisor's contribution up to the statutory maximum.
4. The maximum amount of funding is $700.00 for masters or doctoral students and up to $1,250.00 for postdoctoral students.
